Nick,

If you do an exhaust on your car, leave the resonator on. I got rid of mine on my first go around, then ended up putting it back on later. It makes a big difference.

I learned this with my 2007 Monte SS. I bought it with no resonator and Flowmaster mufflers. Sounded great at idle, and while driving, but when you revved it up it sounded like crap.
