93 SE - 0-60 - *New Vid*
See new vid at bottom
Ok, we have a 93 SE, L27. This is a reference video based on its condition when I bought it. This includes 1.5 year old oil, nasty air filter, old fuel filter, disgusting fouled plugs, a presumed semi clogged cat and front tires being 10 lbs under. I thought i felt fast until i timed it, hence the wooh shes fast
Being that this car has a 3.06 final gear ratio, this thing should NOT be running this slow. I will post another vid after it has all been tuned up
Any other tune up suggestions?

NEW VIDEO
Changes since last video:
Mobil 1 Full Synthetic
Cleaned MAF Sensor
New Air Filter (Paper FRAM temporarily)
New PCV Valve
New TR55s @ 0.060"
and 55*F/RH 100%
That felt INSANELY faster than before, but the speedo shows it being the same? Maybe, MAYBE .5 seconds shaved? Before it was bogging and now it had the tires spinning, what gives? Are these speedos REALLY that slow?

Yeah, WAY more low end now. Used to bog when city driving, now she really wants to move at like half throttle. Moves like stink from a stop. I wish I had access to a scantool to see what my numbers are lookin like.

It doesn't seem that slow considering it'* an L27. I think they are rated to run almost a 9-second 0-60. High 8s at LEAST.
It seems to be running pretty well IMO!

Don't mind the end...spotted a cop...right in front of me....NOT going 100. actually going about 50 less. Slowdown was imminent. I guess he didn't notice. Thank god.
:\ Abs ALWAYS seems to engage on dry stops...my tires really seem to suck they can't hold on to crap...
also...you can't hear it or see it, but theres a TON of torque steer on launch and spinning tires for about 2-3 seconds. no squeal because of the cold.

Heck yeah, it doesn't seem to have shaved off any 0-60 time...simply because my tires wouldn't stop spinning I think I coulda gotten 8.8-9 out of it if they woulda held on!
But it definitely had some top end because of the cold!
