Default My Park Avenue Ultra 3800

I ran across this 1994 Park Avenue Ultra at an Atlanta auction, where someone had donated it to a charity and I "accidentally" won it on an internet bid

Even though it was horribly nasty and not even guaranteed to run, it turned out to be a 2 owner car that was basically mechanically sound. After replacing the harmonic balancer, crank position sensor, and windshield, then it was just tracking down the little annoying things.

The car is nice now, but it'* not an SSEi!!!! Those big flat seats are really uncomfortable when I compare them to the 9 ways in my Bonneville. It'* a nice big cruiser and rides like a dream though. Everybody likes to play with those lighted makeup mirrors in the back seat

My mother in-law has one just like that minus the vanity mirrors in the back.

Very comfy car!

The seats in all of thoses Buicks boats are flat. Still I would drive a newer one with a Gen II or III */c engine. I guess I'm Kinda weird. Oh well, looks like a nice ride.

It'* pretty much a Gen I SSEi with more weight, so it'* not that quick. It IS a nice fast cruiser though - I like it on the interstate. I'm kinda like 2001SCBONNE though, the next body style (starting in 1997) with the Gen II engine would be an even better car. A very few of those even have heated bucket seats...with a column shift of course

My late wife and I had the 91 and 92. Mine was the same dark blue as yours. Hers was the light sky blue. Great cars! I am in awe of the condition and shape of yours. And the engine bay is totally over the top! Great job in maintaining it Mr3800.
