ok, working with a friend to get a title for my car so i can legally part with it.
also, for those that asked what i'm replacing the buick with.....the final decision has been made.
i will be a Chevrolet HHR owner when it'* all done.

yeah you need a title. i don't have one because of some issues with the previous owner skipping town. i can sell it without a title, but it takes longer to find the right buyer.

oh ok. i was just wondering because here in nj if u buy a car from a seller that doesnt have a title, all you have is a paper weight. they wont give you plates or registration, and getting a new title is a pain in the ***.

ok. when i bought the car, the person i bought it from was waiting to get the registration/title from the auto auction. i got the registration, so the car was legal for a year, but i didn't get the title and now the previous owner has disappeared. i have a friend that is going to help me get the title for the car so i can have an easier time selling it. there are always people looking to buy cars without titles to take down to mexico, so it will sell eventually with or without the title in hand.
