My NEW Ride! (for atleast a little while anyway)
Well, this is what I'll be driving for a while, no more Riviera for me! (atleast for a few weeks) ohh yeah. lol. Actually, I'm just driving this until it sells. This is what my brother was driving before he bougth the 2000 SLE. It'* a nice truck. Good condition, just doesn't drive as good as we'd like. He'* not a truck guy apparently. Nice thing about it, is it has the sport package, and the 5.2 liter V8 so it'* pretty peppy! Oh, that, and it ONLY gets 14 MPG average!
PIcture of the 'new' car and the 'old' car..

I'm driving the Dakota to work everyday with a for sale sign in it because where I work gets a lot of traffic and lots of people will see it. I'm keeping the Riviera, I'm just driving the Dakota until somebody buys it. My brother has an internship 3 hours away from here and he won't be driving at all for a month so he just left the Dakota at home and drove his new Bonneville up there. Hopefully the truck sells fast.. I'm going to miss driving my car. lol.

14 mpg?!!! My parents have a 1988 Dodge Ram B250 Wagon Van with the 5.2 (first year of Fuel Injection for the good ol 31, but it has one less gear than the Dakota. The van is one of the extended ones that'* as long as a hearse, and we still get 12 mpg around town, and on a highway trip with a small load will get as much as 15 mpg. What gives? I'd have thought 1 more gear, a lot less weight, a much smaller air-drag co-efficient, and the Magnum version of the 5.2 would be good for at least 1 or 2 more mpgs.
Also, noticed he'* running Infinity (aftermarket) sound. Nice choice. Those white speakers stick out with those gaps in the speaker covers.

Makes me almost as mad as my brother selling my NEW IN THE PACKAGE Bonneville 40th Anniversary emblem for $5 last weekend at the car show. I had a $50/bo price on it and the guy showed it to my brother while he covered the 0 with his finger and he walked off with that for $5. I was pissed. Then later he came back and tried buying the 40th mats for $5 also, which I had marked for $45 (caught him swapping a price tag from some speaker covers). I asked him why he was being such an a$$, and he said he wasn't. Claims it was our fault that my brother sold the emblem for $5. I think someone needs a good back alley beating. oh, how my luck as of late has really been crappy. At least I was able to get $110 for my 6 month old (3 months use) Infinity Reference 1232W in the sealed enclosure with the 6 month old (4 months use) RF 200M amp.
