Default A freaking ton of parts - 21 pictures

I went out a couple times to go pick up some engine parts. An L67 is much heavier when picked up off the floor and loaded into the trunk than when you unload it onto the floor. Odd... Must have been the horrible pain at first.

Here'* a bunch of stuff squishing the rear suspension:

I forgot what I put in here, so it'* a surprise for now:

And here'* my box with a complete M90 with a new coupler and a set of LIMs. One is from an L67 and the other from an L36.

One of my sets of valve covers was filled in and painted black by the previous owner. I am going to repaint these because they have some scratches. Yes, they may get scratched when I use them, but I am going to try to rice out the SLE by painting them dark cherry metallic to match the exterior paint.

I am told I have a set of anodized M90 gears. They're very shiny. This picture doesn't do them any justice. I can see myself in them, past the very minor scratches.

Pretty cool, I think. I have a lot more parts coming in. I may go pick up one or two more L67 shortblocks. There are some things that aren't pictured that I forgot I have. Overall, this is going to be a lot of fun to sort through and send to machine shops.

Dan, I know of 3 other 3800s that you can have to play with. Shipping is pretty odd, but I'm sure you can have one for less than $100.

As for all these parts... The SLE will get machined L67 heads, an L67 LIM, and a ported M90. The other M90 is actually for sale. I can get a third one, fully assembled and ready to go. The L67 shortblock will have L67 heads added to it plus the SLE'* ported LIM and L26 UIM. Then, I will put a huge turbocharger on it. The other parts are there simply to aid in these builds or to be used for core charges. It should be tons of fun.
