Nope, not yet anyway. It was supposed to equipped for the 2012 year model, but it never happened.

Well shucks. By the way, how tough is it to get VVT and such to work with an aftermarket controller and/or are there tuning suites available for the LLT and such engines? To keep this on topic, is there tuning available for the 3.9 in this Impala, and why wouldn't Gunner want to use it?

There is not currently any controllers for the VVT/VIT. The 60*V6 community is just now getting their hands on these motors and learning about them. Most lock the cam phaser (disable VVT) and install a non VIT intake manifold and use a 3100/3400 PCM to control it. Currently, there is a twin turbo 3900 being built for a Fiero.

The megasquirt3 is capable of running the variable valve timing, variable intake timing, and COP (though I think the 3900 is coil near plug) that the 3900 has. It can also run the direct injection of the LLT. But the first step is to get the MS to understand the crank reluctor of the new GM V6s. On that note, I've determined that the LS1 and 2005+ GMV6s use the same reluctor, so one of the MS developers re-wrote the LS1 code for a V6 and I'll be testing it this summer. It'* very exciting stuff.

Yes it is exciting. For Impalas as well, I'm sure!
