My new beater Bonneville
Bought it today from a co-worker for $500. It replaces my last beater, which was a 1991 Sentra SE-R that was running great but in serious trouble from rust.
Anyway, my car is a '95 SSE with a gold exterior and brown interior. 147k miles. Judging from the PO'* receipts, this car was reasonably well cared for, even if it is a bit rough.
So far I'm quite happy with it. The good outweighs the bad, I think. This is my first domestic...I usually buy Nissans as beaters (and one Volvo, which I ended up giving to my dad, and he'* managed to get the odo up to 280k miles) My mom bought herself a '97 LeSabre and I really liked it, so when this Bonny came along, I jumped on it. Basically, this car is going to be my comfy, reliable, useful beater that I can drive at all times, while working on my project '81 Datsun wagon.
Current problems are mostly leaks. Leaking power steering pump, slight oil leak, AC freon leak, etc. The other annoyance is the pictured damage. Cracked front fender and the lens for the blinker fell out, but I have it.
Some junky nighttime pics I took right after buying it:
I LOVE THE SEATS.
Damage to front.

I think you got a pretty good deal. The only thing I suggest you watch is your coolant level. If it drops, you likely need new LIM gaskets or a new UIM. We can give you money saving tips and maybe even parts if you ask the right guy.

Welcome!
Looks like all minor problems. With the oil leak, you should definitely think about doing the UIM replacement soon. Little bit of info for you:

Welcome to the club! Mine is the same color as well ("light beige metallic"). It looks especially nice at dusk.
SSEiMatt had a 93 the same color as well.
I may have the corner lamp you need.
