My new 4th Brake Light.
I absolutely fell in love after seeing Samz new center tail light. Here'* a pic to compare.
So i decided I would do the mod too but a little different. Instead of cutting a seam along the length of the reflector. I would cut a hole on both sides of the reflector to allow for the flexible LED strip to be fished from one side to the other. I made numerous measurements as I did not want to cut it to short nor to long and wanted it to stay centered. So I proceeded to do so and came with a good result but I wish they had bigger led strips at the local advance auto, auto zone, and pep boys. I purchased the longest LED they has which was 27 1/2" long. I found the link that samz referred to which is http://www.oznium.com. I think I will get there 38" light and add it to the bottom of the reflector when money becomes available. But it will also brighten it up a tad more also.
Here a pic of the leds.
Here is a pic of the clip located on the reflector but if you remove the reflector from the trunk do not just pull the piece till it pops or you will break the clip. If you have or can get, not sure what its called but it looks like a ice pick with a curl at the end. It will help release the clip instead of ordering a new one and waiting for it to come in.
Here is a test shot of the first hole i cut with just a single led of a desk light.
Here is the final result in the night time with it attached to the 3rd brake lights wire harness. In the pic it looks like the leds look distorted but they are not, its the way the camera took the pic.

Thanks guys. Wife kept wondering why Pontiac never did that since it makes the rear flow nicely. Especially if it did the parking/brake. Told her thats why they are were they are now. Design the cars people want. Thats what makes a car sell.
The light I got came from advance auto it was attached to a running board attachment. The guy just let me take the light and charged me for a shorter flexible one that was in a package. Came out to 15.88 which was half the price of the oznium.com one
