The "I froze my *** off just to get a couple pictures" photoshoot.
I washed my car today, seems it was nice. It lasted a whole 3 hours before it was full of salt again I did get some pictures while it was clean though

Thanks. I think I'm going to wash mine more often after christmas break. Hopefully I'll get my rocker panel fixed while I'm home. I'm definitely going to do that when I get my next car. I'll probably get the underbody wash at the car wash too. This place was $10 for 10 minutes, using the pressure washer with a few different settings, like rinses, conditioners, things like that. At the end of the 10 minutes, I could barely move my wrist, it was cramped so bad.

this is the kind you drive into and a machine pulls the car through, has got all the spinning brushes and undersprays and waxes, hand dry, etc.. $17 a month and "unlimited" washes. its really 10 but thats plenty.

That'* a really good deal. I might try a place with brushes next time. The last time I went through a car wash was a touchless one, and it done a real bad job.

Thanks man. Yeah, its brutal. They have a lot of salt on the roads now, we've been getting rain during the day, then it starts freezing at night, so there'* a lot of black ice everywhere.

Thanks man. The body is holding up fairly well for a 9 year old car that spent its life on heavily salted roads, and next to salt water. Other than the two rocker panels, the lower left fender, and the peeling paint (which seems to be common on basically every car i've seen around here), its in decent shape. It looks much better inside now compared to when I first got it. Depending on if I get a new car next summer, it might get some body work done, and a fresh coat of paint.
