The moon was almost full this past weekend wasn't it? I think that what we're seeing is an increase of good weather carelessness. Obviously what happened to Geoff couldn't be avoided, but the rest of us are experiencing Summer "fun".

yeah, I didn't really get a chance to avoid it. In my mind it was like someone spliced the deer into my vision right before I hit it. Just long enough for me to go **** Deer! Thwack! and the car did hold up well. we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
I am going this weekend to get parts so I should have all the parts I need to fix it by next weekend. except for paint, but if the insurance check from this and the other scrape are enough, the car might be going to canada for paint work sooner than expected.

Jeeez Geoff , luck and your car cant seem to meet lately. First the accident you didnt know about and now deer. There out extra heavy each year lately and getting to be a pain in the ***. Hunting way down from years past and i keep a close eye at nite.Good luck getting fixed.

It'* mating season, seems deer like to mate with bonnevilles for some unknown reason. Especially the hard to get ones (aka moving bonnevilles)! Get her fixed up and bring it on into Canada baby for a nice "canadian-coat-o-paint"!

who the hell do you know in canada that can paint???
you better check out your rad support and frame rails...id like to know why you plastic fender is pushed back, i would figur all the mounting points wouls have broken off and the fender would have been bye bye
