Captain miller -find a 1992+ Bonneville/Park Avenue/ Olds 98 in the salvage yard and look at where it'* mounted and how -you should be able to move yours to the same spot with little work.

Allow me
The idea of a cold air intake is to, simply that, alow Cold air, rushing into the front of the car be used in the combustion process, unlike the stock air box which is slower flowing and tends to allow the air to warm up, hence, reducing performance.
The heat sheild protecs from engine compartment heated air being sucked into the air intake, the sheild works very well in allow as much cold air as possible to be burned
>That took alot out of me!

Well put Matt...

Now who has the most isolated CAI shield to keep the most heat out. I think I heard of some dryer ducting and things like that.

Not sure I want to go that far...but I got the mod twinge and put in angel eyes...now the itch for power is starting and I ordered a RX-4750 today.

Who has the best way to enlarge the IAT hole?

I think you know what a heatshield is. But that still leaves the question of a headshield.

You know he'll say he hoped no one picked up on that.
