1992 trofeo is on a distinguished road
Default jeeze (long story time)

I have too many vehicles then I need and Im only looking for one. Hard choice.
*comes with pictures if your a visual learner*

Current vehicles
1-1969 chevy c/10 (I my pa and I restored this thing when I was so its staying- built a shed for it behind my garage)
2-1987 toronado (for sale, but local...)
3-1992 toronado trofeo (staying!-but I need to paint it black. LOL. and if the motors pooped put in another E body motor (more to come))
4-2001 camaro with the kit swap 95 lt1. never shall I do that again. (lol motor mounts where a bitch, even with the kit)
5-2003 1 ton dually ext cab 4x4 the works, work truck. haulin my welder.

ENUF? no, sence im gettin rid of the 87 I need somthing to fill it.

Now, im sorta leaning towards a seden, I may have kids on the way withen a few years...

At the top is a poll. Below are pictures, 2 sedens, 2 coupes. 2 are v8, 2 are SC, 4 are FWD

-Cadillac Eldorado (2 door- only)

ammazing how my 92 trofeo and this car can look the same maybe its the same chassie! and the windows look simmilar.-not as rare as the trofeo, but theres a 2 or 3 in my town alone.

-Buick riviera (sc)

probably closer to 5-9 of these in my town

-SSEi needs no intro

Theres a bunch of SSEis in town, I Know theres a red one in top con.

-Aurora
Fine looking

-Good one on the edge of town, perfict car somone ran a car fax on it. shes purfict

Now I know this is a bonneville forum. But how about voting for overall good looking and how hard is it to work on, how many things will mess up. ect.

Yes i voted for the SSEi, and no its NOT because this is a bonne forum. I really beleive youl have less trouble with it and it has PLENTY of power. And from what ive heard its decently easy to work on also

Stay away from the 1st gen Auroras. Too many problems and it looks like a Jetson bubblemobile.

What is wrong with the 2000+ SSEi'*?

They share the same platform with the late model Aurora'* and STS'*. You get everything they have, except the V8 for about $10-15G less.

I dig the newer Auroras (2001+). And of course the newer SSEi.

I said SSEi because it seems like you are looking for the same general package my husband and I were a year ago. We did buttloads of research and test drives and came up with one option...the Bonnie. The Caddies are great, but with kids the second set of doors will be a lifesaver. The Bonnie is the best blend of comfort, practicality, power, style and value IMHO.

Yup, dealing with a car seat on a 2 door is a PAIN! The caddies look very nice, and the Northstar... Well, I think Homer says it best aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhllllllll!!!!!
But if you can't get a 4 door, then go for the Bonne.

Default Well. To be honest.

I would love to have another E body car, But where am I going to find a 92-01 elderado? I know theres a 94ish one in town, and I think he owns the smiteys. I should go talk to him, but I dought he would sell.
As fo kids/car seats I do have a quad cab truck. lol. but yeah I know. The aurora is a little ugly, I dont think I could look at that *** for very long. ok aurora is CUT
hmm..
I like the idea of the buick reivera 2 door */C but the northstars got a bit more omff

So really its between the Cadillac and the SSEI.
But with the cadillacs 4.6 DOHC I could probably easly win agenst my friends 95 cougar
Right now hes whippin my 3.8 trofeo. I do beat him at high speeds like say a run to the city. I corner better, Trofeo susp. even though I think his has independent rear susp. but so does mine. LOL! but its just a tad different.
