Default More springtime whoreage!

Well I finally was able to get the car detailed (well the outside anyway) so I took the opportunity to take some shots. Sorry about the so so quality of some of them. The clouds were moving so quick it was alternating between sun and gloomy, and my thusfar limited photography skills were having trouble adjusting.

Cleaning the tails wasn't as bad as I thought. 20 minutes and some sandpaper:

And the money shot:

Hey, thanks for the compliment! I put quite a few hours in polishing it again. But I know from pictures that loooong4 would give me a run for my money I think.

I actually started the process a couple weeks ago. I have some Meguiars soap that I use to wash. Then I clayed it with Clay Magic (though I find that stuff is too harsh for my car as it marred the paint pretty badly). Next I polished with a Porter Cable polisher and Optimum Polish. The finishing touch was one coat of XMT Glaze followed by two coats of Poorboys Nattys Blue paste wax (I actually didn't get around to the second coat for a week).

Yes they did, and a good job. The first time they only did the hood, but the second time they scuffed up the top of the fenders and blended them in. If I put the car in the garage when it'* dark and turn on the halogen lamps I can just barely tell where it'* blended, but otherwise you can't see it at all.

The only thing that sucks about the repaint is that it'* actually better than the factory job as far as the orange peel. :?

Sometimes it'* better to take pics when it'* a little overcast. The sun doesn't reflect as bad tand the shots turn out better IMO

BTW............

Looks great

My car is all polished and waxed right now, I just need some pictures so hopefully I can change that . I do have some stiff competition though, your car looks AMAZING. I think your paint is in better condition than mine.
Grant

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't have a chance, your car looks ridiculous. I need to use a rotary and a PC on mine.
