Mini-Whoring @ the Track
Went to Richmond Dragway on the 17th.
Guinevere ran consistent 16.7s even when my brother took her down the track. I let him have a go twice for his birthday, his first run was a 16.9 then his second run he matched my times. (If I need to post the time slips let me know, I just figure since i have posted my fastest TS before I don't need to post slower ones)
4 of 6 runs were identical to the hundredth aside from RT
RT ranged from .5056 to .61
60' at 2.4
1/8 was 10.7s
1/4 was 16.7s
the other run was my brother'* 16.9.....and my 18.8 I staged and my mind was somewhere else, I dont remember what I was thinking about but i was waiting for this Acura Integra to stage and he was taking a little long...but my mind wondered off and as soon as the first yellow light on the tree lit my mind snapped back and I moved and red lighted , and I was like NOO! ****!!! and then I just cruised my way down the track
Some pictures in the pit/parking lot:
My brother, taking on a '66 'Stang (289ci)
Me Staging...
Me Launching...
Just after a run, I'm on the phone with Pat, finding out exactly how to trick the ELC, which worked but only effected the times by a thousandth:

I like 'em too, apparently not many people do though And most people think they are hub caps on steelies
I have been thinking about maybe getting a set of White T-Stars...or better yet, Powder Coated White GXPs
The Track was fun though, Last time I was there they put me in the Super Street (SS) class, I don't know why. This time they put me in Street (*) but I later had them change it to Compact Street (CS) because all of my friends were put in CS. I swear I had the biggest vehicle in Compact, and I could still take about half of them

Looks like a good time.
I have always liked those wheels. Wanted to get green ones for my 95.
And your brother looks like a young Tony Hawk.

I noticed the shirt. But really I grew up skating and was a fan of the Birdman before he was a household name, and that'* pretty close to what he looked like.
Anyway, back on topic, really like the car and love the wheels.
