Mini-Meet in Oregon, and no Bonnie'* to be seen!
Gonneville (Brian) and I met up over near Portland on Thursday. He was delivering a load in the Portland area while I was on vacation on the very upper left part of Oregon (Right on the Pacific Ocean/Columbia River). I had the Explorer, because I hauled the boat down, while Brian of course had the huge Volvo semi. No bonneville'* at this meet up! Had a great time though, went to a place called Multanohma (Sp?) Falls just down the road. Brain had visited there about 20 years ago when his family went on vacation, and was interested in going back again. Got a bite to eat. Talked 3800'* for a while. Took a nice vibrating ride back to the truck stop (need to have the wheels/tires balanced int he Explorer ) He showed me the semi and talked about the proffesion. We both needed to get going so, that'* all we could really fit in. None-the-less, it was a pleasure meeting you Brian and I hope you can get some more runs out this way, if not get your arse out here for WCBF! Let me know if you're in the northwest again, esp. in the washington area!
Anyways, some pics. I shot:
Damn Portland traffic!
The falls
Brian (Gonneville)
Me
Both
The Explorer showing the Volvo semi who'* boss
INTENSE makes parts for Volvo Semi'*?! LOL!!!
And last, but not least, the bug shots!

Smelly truckdriver stopped by here too. didnt have my camera though. However there was at least one 'ville at this meet. Brian is supposed to upload some pics when he finds a place with WIFI
BS'd about random sh*t argued about PEMs...I may have gotten owned...but hey oh well. Gonneville got to see my gaping exhaust leak, however the crack was so big and my KR was 20* he was wondering why and how all my pistons were still intact.
Checked out "The Bridge"....boosted around idaho. No Haros good times

Definitely had fun meeting both of you guys, I'll be uploading pics in a few minutes.
Unfortunately, the whole thing kind of got overshadowed a few minutes after I got back on the road out of Twin Falls. My Mom called me to let me know that Baron, our oldest cat, had died. He'd had a tumor that we just found out about a few weeks ago.
Anyway, I'll start another thread for that, so no condolences here, keep it upbeat for me.
The wole thing with Multnomah Falls was that my family and I visited it back when I was 7-8, when we did a big "Out-West" trip. While were there, I found one of those machines that smashes pennies into an oval with a design on them. Well, when we sold the car we took the trip in, the penny happened to be in it(right-rear passenger ashtray). I've regretted losing that little souvenir ever since.
When I passed the falls on the way into Portland, all that rushed back, and I decided that there was no way in H*LL I was leaving without a replacement for that d*mn penny! So when John showed up, I asked him if we could swing over and have a look at the falls and get my little bauble.
So off we went, and when we got there we decided to take a quick hike up to the bridge that crosses the lower falls and take some pictures. I forgot how steep that path is!
Meeting the potato-head was fun too. We took a swing over to a local burgers-and-shakes place and got lunch. Pina Colada milkshake, extra thick, mmmmm...
That bridge is pretty impressive, and I got to see BOTH falls in Twin Falls!
I'll throw up pics in a little while here...

If Haro can come up with two in chrome, I'll stick em on the back ferring, but the windshield is out, too many bugs to clean off...
This connection sucks, I'll have to wait till I get home to upload my pics to my hosting site...
