Lower No More
I got rid of my lowering springs. The vibration issues I was dealing with were just too annoying. I had the stock springs swapped back in last weekend. I like how it rides now, but I do miss the handling. I never realized how much of an improvement in handling I got with those springs.
Anyway, here are the last two photos of my car lowered:

Yeah, it'* almost always a trade off between ride and handling. You kinda have to choose one or the other or find some happy medium ground.
So what were the vibration issues?

Those are beautiful fall shots of your car Sol! I tried getting some nice fall shots of my car but it either rained or I had to work so I missed out on all the nice fall scenery this year!
Too bad you had to go back to stock, that ride height looked great on your car!

Just out of curiousity, did you try using washers on the lower motor mounts or shorter top dogbones to get rid of the half shaft vibes?
The washer thing helped my buddies regal.

I did move the engine forward 7/8" by modifying the dog bones. That eliminated 95% of that vibration. However, because I have a 3" downpipe, the forward movement made it so the pipe would vibrate against the body.
It just got too annoying to deal with. These cars aren't designed to be lowered I guess.
Thanks. It was very difficult to get good shots cause the weather has been terrible. My car was actually filthy in those pics, but it'* hard to tell.

I have a friend who lowered his GTP by heating the springs. I wonder how his car rides :?
It'* unfortunate you had to lose the handling, but I wouldn't have been able to deal with vibrating like that either.
