status of the old SSE
Passed by the current owners' house today and found the 1991 SSE to be parked on the road 'cause their driveway was being resealed.
Slow leak in that tire was around when it was sold... for $500 when it could have gone for double that, it'* for sale again

It was parked as of April 2006 with the purchase of the Civic, and was sold in September 2006 to this house around the block. And it hasn't been on the road since. This car'* done a lot of sitting, the first stint was from July 2002 - November 2003 when we were waiting for the Cressida to die. Intial purchase was March 2001.
And it'* been very much a road worthy car every time it'* sat. Chase a half-tank fueling/stalling issue on this puppy and it'll treat you well, too bad I'm in no financial position to practically double the current fuel costs I have. And I would be giving up a 100% reliable car in doing so.
I miss it.

Cloth and no sunroof.
Car needed nothing to certify at time of sale... 100% certifiable and e-testable at the time it was parked and at the time it was sold, just keep the gas above half tank. the guy just couldn't afford to insure it I guess.
