Default Do i have room for the drop?

Well.. in another month here the winter is leavin us, and that means i gotta do somethin big for the spring I really want to get those 2" drop lowering springs like smellbird..but i was wondering if i can actually afford that drop?? Right now i'm running a 235/60r16 tire ..and then my summer rubber is 235/50zr18 (which is a tad taller in diameter..not much) ..i suppose the only one who really knows is smellbird..what kinda tires are you runnin..and how'* the clearance??

here'* some pics (as usual ) ..so maybe a visual can help too??

..and these are the results i'd like DAMN

His summer rubber is a smaller diameter then the stockers. I could tell a height difference when he slapped on the winter rubs. You could do it i'm sure. With new struts, it'll be MUCH firmer. With those 18'* you'll get a damn harsh, yet sporty ride.

It'* gonna look really sweet, but you can't have the air shocks anymore right? It'* gonna be a rough ride.

u peice of crap! ..can't wait to see ur *** this spring and show u that "all show no go "
however, i'm just debating on how it'* gonna effect my transmission..b/c at this point i'm not gonna be able to afford 1000$ worth of tranny work ..just because i wanted to beat more ppl in races... ya know?

i was told if i got a chamber kit i wouldn't have to get new struts.. is this true... yes/no??

You won't 'need' new struts, but smellbird needed one screw from the camber kit.

Your struts now are softer then optimal for the lowered height. remember you'll need it stiffer because it'* traveling less.

Ryan'* just pissed because he doesn't have an INBC
