Dude, I just straightened my front end. prime and colormatch paint that before you start putting peices back on, it will look alot better. seriously. I wish i had...

Also when you have two metal surfaces you etch both the inner sides (where the two peices of metal meat) before you tack weld it.

we plan on spraying it a grey that looks like the regular color after we prime it. it should look like nothing happened after it was all done. it should be running the next time we work on it, but we will see how lazy we get since it will be so nice up here that we wont wanna work STAY TUNED!

well it isnt that nice up here, i lied. :( we did put the headlights on, and then it started to downpour and i didnt bother taking any pictures. sorry guys. the color came out good with the paint, and ill be sure to take pictures of that. any other tips from the other front end rebuilders out there? sorry about the post with no pictures.

no, i didnt forget about you guys! here'* some new pictures of whats been happening.
all of the original framework was painted black.
she now starts, but she runs like shes choking on bad food.
still worried about everything lining up (headlights, etc) but only time will tell.

Definitely coming along good there.
Took me awhile to get my 1994 SLE together when I first bought it (damaged from hitting deer). Taking me longer since I hit two deer back in September -have pretty much gotten everything but the drivers headlamp (had been borrowing my brother'* but had to put it back on his 1992 SSE before he sold it).
I have to admit, you have alot more to do than I did either time. You'll be proud and protective when she'* together no doubt.
