Default Guinevere - Out of Commission...(More pics on pg. 3)

for a good month or two at least.

I messed up guys, i was going just a little too fast around a corner, just enough so that the right front dropped onto the leaves and that was it...Guinevere slid off grabbed some small trees and halted. two maybe 2" thick trees were holding the car from sliding and or rolling down the hill (about 40' down). My Brother and I are fine, all damage from what I can see is cosmetic, i'm lookin at a new passenger side everything except maybe rear fender. There may be some damage underneath...hope not...

Heres what 'cha wanna see though right?

This is after i drove her home:

...some junk i picked up around the scene...

Someone called 911 as soon as it happened cut the fire dept. and police were there about 3 minutes after it happened. Good news is no one was hurt, and the Cop let me off too. He said he could charge me with reckless driving, but he decided since no one was hurt and no property except my own was damaged its gonna be for me to learn from.

Mom isn't really mad or anything...she said it was bound to happen, everyone messes up. Dad however will probably be ticked off, he isn't home yet...

:(

&*%$!!!

well i wouldn't call her totaled, we're not making a claim, but she'll be sitting for a while, at least untill i replace the front bumper and headlights... :(

the tow company charged $95 to pull it out, and then he ziptied the bumper up so i could drive her home and he wouldn't charge for the tow...but thats still alot just to get out of the ditch

glad your ok, it could have been worse for you and the car. it doesn't look like any damage to the rear quarter, I wouldn't call it totaled either. a couple doors, front fender, and a bumper from a jy, you could be all set. if the rear quarter is messed up, now your into real body work and big money.

There is easily $4000+ worth of damage right there. I'm sure you can fix it all yourself for around $500-$1000 though.

Just the doors cost nearly 2 grand from the dealer/anybodyshop. Bumper assembly is $1000 as well. Lets not forget the hood at nearly $1000 as well. It appears to be damaged.

Same damage happened to a 2001 SSEi in the junkyard near me...and it was totalled. No quarterpanel damage, just front fender, both doors and hood damage.
.

I checked car-part and there is a set of white SSE doors in NORFOLK...I dont know how far you are from there.
