Been working on the car
Heres all the parts I started off with
Heres close-up of the parts
Here we are starting on the car, Jess is doing the honors of getting the fuel rail off
Here the TB is off and the Upper Intake is loose and ready to come off the motor
Here the upper intake is on the bench ready for clean out and the stock insert runners to come out.
Heres the lower intake manifold
Heres the ZZP HV unit
Heres the zzp part installed upper intake reinstalled, fuel rail back on. The circled part is the zzp part under the upper and between the lower.
It was quite an experience. Have been taking it easy on the motor so far. Anybody who has this part was your idle "lumpy" to start with. I'm hoping the computer will relearn its idle.

Watch out. Your gonna catch heat from installing a HVII before a cam or rockers..
I installed this two years ago with only an intake, chip, highflow cat, and muffler. And I did notice a difference in the butt dyno. But it has been even stated by zoomer that it'* by no means a beginner mod in the sence that you need to have that engine flowing way more(cam & pems/headers) and raise the shift points much higher to take advantage of it in the 1/4 mile.
You will enjoy this mod on the highway though.
Good work though after I installed the HVII, I felt confident enough to do a cam & head install a few months later.
And to answer you question. Your idle should not be lumpy. That sounds like a vac leak to me.
It looks like you reinstalled a stock gasket between the LIM and HVII which is good. What did you use between the HVII and the UIM?

Theres no SES light and no coolant leaking, gas mileage good just a slight lump when idling in drive(about 600 rpm) other than that no other symptoms. I know it was stated that your motor should be breathing better before you install one, but it helps the motor breathe better in the upper rpm range anyways and Im not necessarily doing it for 1/4 mile times just some more fun.

Still there should be no lope. When I didn't seal my HVII right after my cam install I had a monster lope. After I redid the seal the lope almost went away. As I should have a small lope from the cam.
You may want to redo the seal between the HVII and UIM with some red RTV.
