The company who made the trim couldn't cover the entire plastic piece because it isn't flat, it 'bubbles up'. I was thinking about grabbing two front door switchpods from '93-'95 from a junkyard

Well, you could skip the piece that does the seat switches. You could also drill holes into the other piece to accomodate your LEDS and switches. I don't know, I wouldn't let that stop you from doing it if you really want to do it....
I do know they can get a SSEI kit that gives you the heads up display opening and premium sound bass adjustment if you have it.
