Back on Dec 17 02, two members joined BC that forever changed the way we see classic Bonnes and set the bar for 87-91 standards. Long live Black Magic and RLD

Looks good Jason....get her back on the road where she belongs

Props to you for working "Red Barchetta" into your post and reworking the lyrics a little for the Bonneville

Nope didn't wash or wax it.... I took the pix only seconds after removing the two covers.

The tranny has 252,000km on it, it'* had only regular maintance, never a serious overhaul, and I guess it'* time is due. It'* shifting hard, not catching gears, and sometimes doesn't come out of 1st or 2nd gear. :(

Ok.... update...

I had her out last night on a "shake down" cruise... everything went better then expected. The tranny is still sorta rough, but not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I had a flush done to it only the day before she went into storage, so I'm thinking that helped a lot. She still holds the gear a little too long sometimes and goes into the redline if I'm not careful. But other then that (and a few squeeks around the car) she'* in really good shape for not being moved for 8 months.

Had her out driving around for 2hrs last night, without any real big issues.
Stereo still thumps like you would not believe... I missed the bass....
