Is it going to be a brake light or on all the time? How are you lighting it? Light bar or are they all going to have their own individual light?

When I bought the lamp, it came with the wire harness. I'm gonna splice that in with the rest of my parking lamps, and drill holes to set them in. Because it'* a little thin where I carved the letters out (not real bad) I dont want to add brake lamps for it. I'm worried that if I did the extra heat would cause damage.

Done!

Here'* the center section with the bulbs mounted. I used a hole saw, then spliced in sockets from the doner harness.

After I was done carving the letters, I used a fine modling paint brush to finish tracing each letter. When that dried, I sprayed the letters with clear, high temp ceramic paint.
Then I glued on the center section with 2 part epoxy.

Drifter was the first.. I asked how he did it and when he said he cut the letters through from the outside .

I liked the look, didn't want to cut the front. Many conversations with Corvettecrazy and I hopped on the project starting a week before him. Being that I have an SSEi with the DIC, voltage to bulbs etc can't be altered much. I used LED'*...

PearlJam.. I know what it takes and the mess it can cause. You did a great job. (how did you seal the back of the light?)

Now that you finished your first. There are probably a few people around here looking for one. Interested in doing more?
