finally some LED interior pics
I got a camera for christmas so I figured I might as well give it a work out. Here they go...
BLUE interior LEDS
WHITE license plate LEDs

Heres a very basic idea of what I did.

the LEDs were 5mm red LEDs, ( 2.2 volts, 40mA ) I bought them off my friend but you can get them many places.

I actually like the directional appearance of the leds. I wanted them to look custom and not just retrofitted off another car. Wider viewing angle leds arent as bright because the light is brighter when its focused. I have 8mm and 10mm leds as well, and theyre 55 degrees, but they also draw so much current that I dont have resstors with high enough power handling. I actually changed these leds to two rows of leds instead of one. and theyre white leds behind a red lens instead of red behind red like before. Once I find the right glue ill have leds in the rear side markers as well.
