Those SE ones look like they aren't quite as large and wouldn't let the same amount of heat out. Interesting though

Looks great Bill. I believe you've inspired me to look for some late 90'* through 2003 GTP vents. Is there a way i could just avoid having to repaint my entire hood? Or am i crazy?

We didn't repaint John'* whole hood. Just masked near the edge of the cuts, and then repainted that (doesn't even have to match). The flange on the vents overlaps about 3/8".
