Some winter pics
Hey guys, i had to take the girlfriend to the library and decide to take a couple of pics while i was waiting for her. I wanted to take some pics of the backend when the taillights weren't on and Im still partial on wheather i like the trunk lid deflector on there or not, its kind of different which i dont mind but is also a chance of me screwing up the trunk lid if i tryed to remove the deflector. So give me your feedback on the subject, and remember if i ever did decide to remove it. Theres a high percentage i would ruin it and have to buy another. and then again maybe not..

I love the GXP'* on there! Personally I'd go all clear if you're gonna do that much. You've seen the dimples underneath that middle red reflector though right? If you get really crazy, maybe you could fill them in and repaint?

Is there any way to rig some sort of white/clear 'reflector' to go where the red lenses used to be? I really like the totally clear look, but it looks sorta odd with no reflector or something else in the housing to diffuse the light from the bulbs. It looks like at night the bare bulbs would look like the tail light housing is broken, or just sorta odd to see bare bulbs. If one could fit in some light fixture paneling or something to fit where the red reflectors where so they dont look like stripped housings?

I think it looks great the way it is, almost aftermarket. I cant remember how many times someone has asked me how much i bought them for and where i found them at. I have no complaints about the tails..

Meh, Ok...but all aftermarket lenses are required to reflect red. My husband had a Beretta GTZ back when we started dating, and he cleared his own tails then, but made his own reflectors to place over the red bulbs to make the tails legal (in ND, and most other states if not all, taillights must reflect red) At night if there is no reflector, the housings look like they are broken and the red reflectors are missing. If you like it, thats great, you dont have to worry about it, but I was just wondering if anybody has successfully cleared the tails without leaving the bulbs bare-looking.
