wow, that sucks. yeah i will say that for all the shortcuts GM took with some things the bumpers on these cars are pretty amazing, bet you only popped a few clips. i remember my accident this past winter, i was left with a little outline of the guys vanity plate, and that was it. he pushed me off road and into a ditch and all i had was that little mark.

looked like it did a little damage to the silverados front bumper, unless im imagining things.
Dakota and I watched a Lady have a seizure and floor her G6 right into the side of a brick building! totalling it.

It'* not the 1960'* guys. Everything on the outside of the vehicle is meant to crumple and absorb impact. Look under the bumper cover and you'll see much more. On the truck, the bumpers are not covered, therefore you see the damage easily. The G6.. well it had a visible bad day.
I have a full sized Silverado, unlike that baby one you got tapped by. It'* a 4wd extended cab, 8 foot bed with tow package. A late 80'* firechicken hit me at a good clip. Twisted the bumper slightly. He lost a hood, and probably fenders. Had a nice tow home I bet.
