But yes my buddy paul owns a body shop and he was telling me how good PPG red is about 220-240 bucks per qt its insane

You would fix the rust on the truck? Times must of changed. I use to fix the rust on my cars in the 80s, without major money, it would come back. And a sign of rust meant rust would be showing up at other locations in the near future. In my experience, rust really can't be fixed. Maybe I am living in the past.

Havent wondered why bubba is taking so long? there was more than it appeared to be i had to cut just above the body line on cab corners for good metal then had make new INNER cab corners and supports..lol sure it will come back in another 15 years but there are some damn good sealers out there and bubbas getting the best one i can find lol but yeah ill fix it

you can use the adhesive instead of welding as well, that lasts longer.
my 89 was red and gold when i got it, i hate both colors, i painted it a darker crimson metallic and black.

nice lookin truck justin..I just got to drive it for the first time..Went to orileys after more parts for bubba..and it runs good shifts good steering is tight..guns ran an auto check on it for me and i was told right the guy i got it from got it from the orig owner..The brake pedal goes to the floor tho..But no brake light is on on the dash and all the lines are new and i found no leaks so in the morning im gonna put it on the hoist and check the brake system out top to bottom..Im thinking they just never got bled or werent bled right..Oh and HOLY CRAP this thing is HWY geard..2.73 to be exact haha sweet
