Careful here. Most states do not allow tampering of DOT regulated factory lighting equipment. It'* one thing if its a show car, but as a daily driver, you can be fined. If not worse.

As a commercial driver, I see tinted tails once in awhile. I will rephrase that, I see the lack of COMMUNICATION tinted tails shows. With the right ambient lighting conditions, I can't even tell if its a car or a horse in the road.

lol. most states require that you be able to see the taillights 500 feet away at all times. i found 30-40% tint film achieves this nicely on my car and my girlfriends 02 civic coupe.

I was gonna try the R Vinyl peel and stick smoked tint so if its a big deal ill be out of a whopping 20 bucks, I will not paint my lights for any reason.

i can do you one better. go to advance auto, and get some gila tint for $5. id recommend the tint with adhesive for your car with how sculpted your lights are but i used the peel and cling.

no prob. just keep in mind, if you get adhesive my instructions in that thread were useless lol. lots of soapy water underneath, a credit card or some type of squeegee and a whole lot of patience is about the best advice i can give for adhesive tint because it doesn't really stretch.

i think unless you just stretch the peel and cling across all the grooves in the top of your lights adhesive is probably your only option though.

GXP tails dont have the grooves in them so i should be able to knock this out easy.
