Thanks Tom. I usually use Mothers Carnauba paste. I use their 3-step system. But I had some Meguiars Gold Class left over and that'* what I used this time:

I am happy with it, and have always loved Mothers brand products too. I want to start looking into polishing though, as I've never done it (and don't have an orbital buffer).

I thought so.... They look good. You 02+ guys, you're luck you can take your tips off and clean them.

I didn't take mine off....aren't mine welded? Are you saying I could have taken them off?

I didn't have a hard time doing them on the car, but I didn't even look to see if I could take them off. I assumed they were welded.
