The electric waterpump work better than stock in my opinion, not shockingly better, but better. It'* sopose to add 7 hp at 6,000. But, if i'm not mistaken, the series 1'* power band drops off that high. I felt an increase in power(when my freakin car runs right).
One drawback is that the belt wraps aroung the harmonic balancer less which results in some minor belt slipping at WOT. I'm not sure how the accessory belt goes on the series 1 though. The volt drop is almost nothing. i was suprised.
The ZZP pump comes w/ good wiring complete with an ignition relay. You just have to hook up power, ground, and to an ignition wire. I found a pink ignition wire up behind the p/* strut tower, hooked it up, turned the key and it went on. So this means you can turn your car off, put it in accessory, turn your fan on(if you have a switch), and your car can me cool in minutes!!
Hope that helps.
