Simple.... buy some VHT paint or BBQ paint....

Remove your rim/wheel....
Tape off the area....
Don't worry too much about getting paint on the pads/rotar.... it will come off the first time you brake....
Apply the paint... give it a few coats..

Paint helps protect the caliper against dirt and rust.

Sorry.... I would assume that being a Bonneville owner... nothing on the car would be dirty.... and if something was to become dirty it would be cleaned right away before anything else was done.

I'm a little ticked right now..I just got done writing my 12 step painting guide, hit preview, and it asked me for my logon again. Lost it.

I guess I'll do it again, this time in Word, and copy the the text over. (After a Dew break.)
