New 01 Bonne SSEi owner!!!
Hey guys!!! My name is jake and I just purchased and 01 SSEi. I love these cars. Only thing is, its not V8, man trans (6-speed?), and rear wheel drive. That would be the ta-ta'*. This is my first non V8, non rear drive vehilcle. I look forward to using this site to help me keep my bonne in tip top shape. Anyone from, around north central IL. Any IL or southern WI clubs?
PS- its dark green, I have yet to see a bonne of any trim (SE, SLE, SSEi) the same color, it also looks black at certain angles. I love this color!!!

Nice car! There'* a good deal of us in the Chicago area. I actually hosted a minimeet this spring. Search for the thread in the "Eastern US and Canada" section. Welcome by the way, and you'll find that after you're here for a little while the urge to mod your car will overpower you! The SSEi'* have a LOT of potential, quite the sleeper too

Oh yeah, def a sleeper, many a time ive done 45 in 30 over a hill and cop just lets me roll. One friend said he sees only old people in the bonnevilles. I was like, "...not this one!" Is 0-60 time really 7 seconds? Seems faster that that. Ive been wanting to go to the track to get some base times. Suprised at the posi-action effect of the front wheel drive. leaves nice black marks.

Nice ride! I think that green is one of the most uncommon color for our year which is surprising considering how popular it was in the 92 - 99 cars.
Time to ditch the stock SC pulley and get a fender well intake (FWI).
