Have to wait until the insurance gets back to him since he didn't have full coverage on it due to the cost. Ideally, yea...would love to part it out. If so, I may have to have a Vulture Meet...come pick apart the Bonnie with him.
I haven't been by the scene...but a friend of mine heard it on the scanner; someone else reported a car in the ditch, said it was possibly a roll over. Ditchboy said it was a deep ditch...so I imagine he crossed over the line, went into the ditch and rolled up onto the hydrant. And yes, Randy gave him the original interior parts with the car...just have to find them in the garage that Ricer Son has taken over.
This is only the 2nd ditch for this car - both on snowy roads. The guardrail incident was his brother falling asleep coming home from vaction. Of course, Ditchboy also went off the road with his Escort three years ago and totaled it...so for him, three ditchs... his screenname is fitting. He drives about 20k miles a year though...so three ditches in 60k miles... may not sound too bad. He'll be 20 in May.

Glad to hear your son is ok Tracy!!
Being a parent, I can relate to all of the thoughts going through your head being woken up in the middle of the night by the locals.
