i probably took the deer at about 50 or 55, and it looked big for the split second that i saw it--it was probably as tall as my car.
im pretty sure the deer didnt make it, i was pretty unhappy and just wanted to get my car home i was about a quarter mile from home(the saddest quarter mile a bonne has probably ever driven) but i was alone and just burned the crap out of my arms from the airbags as seen here:
it was hard getting up today to know i had to deal with this in my driveway :(
p.*. corvette? i think the headlight is ok, but ill let you know when i get there

OMGosh, that looks terrible. I'm sorry for your car and your arm. Hey theres a yard up in Covington that has quite a few 96-99 Bonnevilles right on Old Rte 15 between Mansfield and Covington if you want to get parts.

Hes gonna need more then just parts, i doubt the car is a write off but it will require the skills of a bodyman for sure.

And Dbeast, if it was a moose the car would be about 200x worse then that!

*update* radiator doesnt look great, but its not leaking anything, car drives and starts strong, (mom wanted me to turn it around so the neighbors didnt see) k&n is dead, rice pipe is ok a bone fragment took out the driver'* quarter window and its still in the metal of my car (gulp!) right headlight works fine, sorry corvette

mom and dad put the fear in me about it getting totalled so i yanked all my stuff out today, might have some oem parts for sale soon

it just sucks being a new college grad, i have no "real" employment right now nor another car to drive till this gets sorted....thankfully my girlfriend and family will gladly support me for rides---it feels like im 14 again

anyone who has an extra car (preferrably an ssei) feel like letting me borrow it? i promise to avoid deer and go slow at night? *crosses fingers*

yeah, let me know if you take Mike up on that offer, i'll come down. I think there is a white car in the yard here in Rochester, NY. And I think there is also a white one in the junkyard in binghamton, ny. If it isn't totaled, let me know and I'll check you out for some good parts.

Doesn't look too bad, but you'll have to check and see if the radiator support is pushed back. even if you just have to have that done at a body shop, you should come out ahead if it is not totaled.

And I'd let you borrow my 93 SSEi, but it'* got some issues still and insurance is up in 2 weeks (sorry, mike, it'* at home)
