The vans original A604 took a crap, the guy had a smashed up Plymouth Duster and decided to do the swap instead of shelling out $500 for a trans. I don't know all the details of the linkage and pedal installation and the fabricating that was needed, but I wonder if he might have found a 2.5L, A-520/A-525 minivan and raided the linkage from that.
