a daily pic of my (or the gf'*) car.
hey all. this thread is basically just a challenge to keep me washing the cars this winter. today i snapped a pic while getting gas and i figured that if i took a pic daily, i would never let the car get dirty. (because who really wants to show off a salt covered car?).
thanks for you guys' help keeping the cars clean!

Car looks clean! but....
Jason Dont forget to clean inside/around the doors/hinges etc in winter.
If they look like mine you have done well.
I know it is very hard to keep the salt off in winter when it is below freezing especially.
I generally wait until it is above freezing to get all the gunk off and power wash it !!
Quality sponge with warm water and good car soap makes it shine again !!
How does it look under the hood?

my poor monte looked like a salt ball, havent cleaned it in a while, but had it done last night when we were out shopping. also signed up for the "all you can wash" program at the delta sonic, which is a big drag through type wash were they do under spray wash wax and dry. its like 22 a month, i just do it once a week, seems like a decent deal to me

nope. (i wish i worked at the hobart store, its a 5 min walk from the house)
and those are 2 zero turn mowers, and 3 weedwackers on hangers. i used to ride a 6 foot kubota 0 turn at my last job along with a kubota tractor with a ten foot bushog on the 3 point.
as for the parking job, there are no spots in the corner for some reason. and im the type of guy who goes to walmart and parks at lowes. so this works. lol

well, i have failed miserably at this. lol. here is a pic from today. the high today was 2*F and we are supposed to get another 8" tonight. i work about 25-30 miles from home. so it should be a fun day tomorrow.
there is so much ice on the plate, the entire buick logo is encased in ice. the buick logo is about 1/4" out from the plate itself. thats what i get for being on the freway during the storm.

WOW!
I almost had that much ice on my headlights and windshield from the freezing rain storm here last night. It went above freezing shortly this afternoon, and I was chipping away at the trunk, front bumper still today. I converted your -2F to = -16 Celsius thats cold all right. Take a few photos tomorrow if u get 8" overnight...it will look very different.
Drive safe tomorrow ..looks like a car wash is not near for a while now.
I am hoping that our forecast is rain and well above freezing so I can wash my Salted PA
soon.
