Here'* the specs:
Factory downpipe cut just before flange
New flange to Small 2 1/2" diameter length to cat
Magnaflow high flow cat with 3" in and 3" out
2 1/2" diameter intermediate pipe to flange just behind tank (for easy tank removal later)
F-body Magnaflow muffler
Tailpipe outlets to be cut parallel to the ground instead of a round outlet

They are adding flat black high temp paint from front to back I guess this is better than plain steel but still not the stainless that I was looking for. I still have my buddy'* vidoe camera and will try to get another vid with a sound clip. It shouls still sound pretty aggressive and allow plenty of flow.

The exhaust guy says "nice choice" on the 2 1/2" pipe and cat. No other comment on the rest though.

The rear bumper cover is rather low on this car and there are no provisions or receses for exhaust outlets. I think it would look wrong to have anything below the bumper cover. The tailpipes were cut parallel to the ground but I can still see them while sitting in a car. I gotta cut some more.

The bad news is that I'm not too happy with the setup. The car was an absolute beast without an exhaust but has become docile and mild mannered. Some may say ricey sounding too. Horse has definately been lost which makes randman very unhappy. Among some beers, we talked about adding a resonator for a deeper sound. The system definately needs one. Not for loudness but for the tone.

After 7 bills I hesitate to consider a 3" exhaust but it just might be what I end up with. I'm dissapointed with the power loss.

Now that looks excellent, I don't know that I have heard a Magnaflow on a series II, especially a Series II SC in a PRE 92 Bonneville SSE LOL
I look forward to hearing a couple clips of it, It will sound good I'm sure.

Yep. As the vid shows, the tires nearly roasted upon WOT from a stand still. Now I only get a bark or two. Pissed I am.

It still pulls like a ***** though. A definate improvement over the LN3

I didn't necessarily tell the guy what specific products to put in. He was highly recommended from several people and I drew a diagram of what I was looking for and asked for recommendations. I did specify 2 1/2" diameter pipe, F-body muffler and a high flow cat but the rest was up to him. I can't say he did a bad job of chosing though cause he, Bill and I had conversations and he felt that the products were right for the car.

Am I expecting too much??

you can barely bark the tires? i thought you could rost them in a strictly stock 96+ ssei. something dont seem right :?

also, the SHO can roast them, and it only has 220 HP, with little low end torque, completely stock. kinda makes you wonder :?
