Default Current state of the Jinx (56K ok)

As my siggy says, this car is rarely on the road. ALOT of downtime now

BUT...there is constant activity, despite her non-running condition. On with the pics...

As she sits...front on ramps, rear on stands.

Engine bay...notice something isn't quite right with the thingie on top of the engine. I don't know how it happened, but rest assured precautions are being taken.

Test fitting of the 9C1 Impala rim, painted in textured silver. Trim rings will eventually go around the perimeter.

Been cleaning the underside. Pleasantly surprised by the utter lack of rust

Reworking my intake...yet again. Going back to the 'box...though this time, it'* a bit more robust. Aircraft aluminum, silver texture paint, and eventually some reflective insulation on the side, and underside of the shield.

Wow, holy clean undercarriage

That has to be a single washer fluid bottle, or is it, I can't quite tell. I'm trying to find one.

Looks good though!
Eventually you will have had to have worked all the problems out of 'er.

I kinda like the Impala rims in white (basing this off the partially painted rim on the RF)

Can we get a picture with the trim ring on the wheel if that'* not too much of a hassle?

Wouldn't be a hassle if I had a trim ring to put on it

Booze, yes that is a single washer bottle. Had to ditch the factory one when i went with my first intake setup. I also may have to ditch the ELC pump and either go with F41 rear springs or just put an air chuck in the trunk. I dunno yet.

I know how to fix Jinx. Drive it up here, leave it in my driveway, and I will swap in my engine and tranny, and any other parts that are in better condition. Then leave it here.

Seriously, if you want to sell it, let me know. I need that undercarriage.

Jealous huh? Believe me, if the underbody didnt look this good, this car would have been gone eons ago

After thinking about it, I may very well paint the rims in a very VERY thick white urethane. I did this once before to my '85 Charger with 13" steelies. Origionally they were silver with the heavy pot metal centercap and aluminum trim rings, but I painted those white after I had the entire car shot white. After polishing the centers and replacing the rings with polished stainless, they looked sharp.

Thanks for the comments guys...maybe i should take more pics of the underside...but Jinx, being a female, probably wouldn't like that too much
