We got a late start due to getting called out to work the night before but made good time as there was little traffic. Got my first speeding ticket of the trip about 75 miles from home, was clipping along about 90 mph.
We drove most of the night till I pulled over at 4:00am for a quick 2 hr nap, then it was off to the border. Another speeding ticket in the great state of Washington, 71 in a 60 zone
Everything up to this point was going great except for the speeding tickets, then while looking for John'* place in Bonney Lake the tranny started to slip a bit. :(
After a nap at John'* I got to work.

It was bracket racing, 7th annual chevy showdown (all gm).
I got a perfect light with 0.000 reaction time, didnt even relize till I got back to the staging lanes and with a dial in time of 14.00 I got a 14.009 in the semi finals, in the finals the guy beside me red lighted and I let off the gas not to play the fool with a 14.2
It was a total Bonneville Club victory as everyone pitched in to the car into shape. Hell we went threw 200lbs of ice

You counted the ice pounds? I know it had to be about 8 of the big bags and at least twice that in the small bags. We were so low when the Bullet and Bone-evil made the semi-finals that we didn't know if we'd have enough. We were using mostly empty bags prepping Pdad for the final round, and didn't have much time to cool it down.
