By the way. While never making a mechanical sound, as I did state when I have run into an issue with the Crank Sensor and Cam Sensor wires being frayed from the belt the car ran like absolute crap and could never hold an idle, it would stumble like crazy when you gave it any kind of gas. PLEASE look at this before you go super crazy on it. It would also set a crank sensor or cam sensor RANGE / PERFORMANCE code if you can score an OBDII to scan it.

dad got a chance to pull stuff apart today...
he said he has good new and bad news...im thinking...OK??
good news... i wont need to get insurance for a while :(
bad news... engine is shot... broke valve, hole in piston, and broken connecting rod just from looking in top, and it took the head with it.... crank turns, but that one piston does not...
HUGE SIGH.....
on the lookout for a new motor, or possibly rebuilding from what we got..whatever is cheaper.. my dad does not usually charge me for labor...but since he started this new job, he cant use the shop at his free time...
