Florescent bulb smashed by garage door rained shards of glass all over my Bullet. .

Don't even ask how that happened......although John might snitch on me.

It wasn't really my fault......directly.

I quickly grabbed a shop towel and started to buff it off.

J/K

Actually I stood in amazement and shock at first, then ever so carefully plucked all the big pieces off and then vacuumed the small pieces and then blew off the rest with compressed air, followed by a spray wax.

Yes there are a couple microscopic nics thru the paint on the roof.

The Bullet has been Christened on Easter Day.

CLAYBAR.

get on it with claybar and follow up with some good wax...and it'll be like it never happened.

Oh, it looks like it never happened now except for two very small nics where I can see primer but thankfully they are small enough you have to look hard in a certain light to see them.

I'll hit it again with the claybar tomorrow and then wax it good.

It was just the shock of watching it happen right in front of me this explosion and shower of glass all over the frikken car.

The amount of mercury in a fluorescent bulb isn't going to hurt an adult. Kids are the real concern with mercury. I can't remember everything my Dad said about how it affects them, but it apparently interferes with nerve development somehow. Adults aren't affected as badly because their nervous system is already fully developed.

Actually I got quite the buzz on, snorting it off my sunroof.

My nostrils are coated with this silvery dust.

I have a chunk of paint missing on the 94 SSEi, and the paint and primer seem THICK. Is this a set of deep gashes that are tiny along the surface?
