and my phone has a 5 megapixel camera

Very nice sunsets. You could probably use those on the cover of a very tiny car magazine.


Megapixels aren't everything. The sensors used in phones, computers, and wherever cost or space matter (CMOS) are notorious for being awful compared to "real" ones (CCD), especially in low-light conditions. They're a lot better than they used to be, but it'* still no contest in terms of image detail.

(On the other hand, it'* been a few months since the AA'* in my PowerShot died and I still haven't bought new ones.)
