This truck is big, super duty big, I cant check the oil without some kind of step ladder or climb the bumper :P
I've only put about 45 miles on it since I had it delivered this afternoon so I cant really speak on the power or the fuel economy (or lack of).
Went out and did a little 4x4ing it after supper, no mud just a steep climb into the mountains, which are only a few blocks away. Very agile for the size and a good low gear for digging in.
I've never been a ford guy but the last few years I noticed the chev 4x4'* have been slipping a bit, the only way you can tell if a chev is 4x4 these days is the sticker on the side :?
btw the Spaz is no more, traded in for this monster. The guy has to drive it back to Vancouver (about 600 miles), poor dude. I bought this truck over the internet and a phone call, never bought a vehicle this way before. All I can say is everything went smooth and I got more than I expected for less then I expected.
I'm a happy man

Where we live it is necessary to have a truck. We will haul fire wood and things like that. We park Bone Evil for the winter, and the Spaz was not going to survive another winter here. Plus PDad likes to go hunting and fishing, and he certainly is NOT taking Bone Evil for that. Now we can go camping to some of the forestry campsites around here, places we would never take Bone Evil. In fact in our little outing tonight PDad took us out to places we have never seen. So now PDad is looking at fifth wheels and trailers.......but he will have a wait a little while for that!

Oh goodness no, every other house on our street has a truck. You might be getting the wrong impression of where we live....We live about 45 minutes off the main highway, plus we are 2 hours from the nearest city. We get roughly 6-8 feet of snow in the winter and winter can start at the beginning of September. So trust me, trucks are huge up here.

Nice rig!!! I drive about the same vehicle for work, only with a Powerstroke diesel, and manual trans.
What I like is the feel of command, yet at the same time it seems rather tippy going straight down the road. :?
So, now what are the plans for the Spaz? derby car?
