My 98
There are 2 2000+ SSEis in Idaho right now for sale, one is pictured below, the other is a 2003 for $17,000 and it has high miles. Both were in Bonneville county.
Here it is.
I drove to look at a 2000 SSEi...pictured here, I offered $5500 but they would not take it and the car had been in a bed wreck at some point since the roof was crinkled. It need a windshield, steering shaft, windows, etc.
Ok, so it was in rough shape for 125,000 or whatever it was. Then I went to Idaho Falls and was eating some lunch and across the street I noticed it was the "wessss sideee" car lot that WILL FINANCE ANYONE, buy here pay here kinda thing, They had the 98 I was looking at last summer and it was still on the lot. I said look "I'll pay what you paid for it, nothing more" so he said cool and pulled the paperwork, I ended up driving it away for $1000 less than what I paid for my 93 and that was last year.
Some garage pics I was supposed to post last night.
Oh yeah....working CCR!!!!
mint interior.
rims are in surprisingly good shape.
No rock chips.
Needs a lot of work. Valve Cover gaskets first..
Pics I just took.
This car is not a long term investment, its a cheap form of transportation that almost falls into the "beater" category. I'm sure if I fix the little nagging problems it will be nice again. So far I've put about 500 miles on it no problem since yesterday.
I like the car. Its getting 30.2 MPG.

Nice catch.
Makes me feel stupid since I paid $6000CDN for my '96 with 145,000km'*, but for some reason that is what the SSEi'* go for around here. Mine isn't in as good shape as that either...
I must have missed something. What happened to the 00+?
