I have it in the same place you do. just in the back on the passenger side. I have replaced the splash guard seal on both back doors and figured out it was coming in the front passenger door so when it rains i wedge a towel up to the door and need to replace the ribbon seal tomorrow perhaps. In late June my parents are going to be out of town so i'll have a backup car and probably will take the seats out all over again and take the rear section of the carpet out and sand the rust down and use some of that POR15 or whatever it'* called to seal it.

my leak was strictly from the sunroof, make sure you check the drains!

not toooo bad really. hard to explain but it'* not the actual body of the car that has the rust it'* that shinier silver square thats directly under where your feet would be.

I just took the backseat out of my GXP last week for the first time and I found the same thing. Lots of kiddy snacks everywhere. Maybe the same person owned both of our Bonnes before us!
