Default Engine detailing.

Well, the weather here started to get a little hotter and all of the snow started to melt away. So, I was going to take off the valve covers and paint those nice and pretty. I was also wanting to do some good cleaning and perhaps paint my intake pipe too. That plan changed, woke up this morning and it was snowing. I don't know of anybody that has a shop to do this stuff in so I was angry. I didn't like it. At all. Winter sucks, and it should go away.

Wasn't sure where to put this, an admin can move it if they feel like it.

I feel your pain. I was in Holland last night and I woke up to ice on the Bonnie! UGH! Had to really scrape at the windshield. No fun....

I agree, I am not a fan of the winter.... at all. I can't wait till summer is here so I can work on my car without having to freeze my toosh off. I have a lot of plans for spring/summer:

1.) Exhaust
2.) Supercharger pulley
3.) Rims
4.) Wires & plugs
5.) Engine Detailage (and yes i will ***** it up)
6.) And a bunch of different little things that I need to fix up on the bonnie.

Oh boy, I can't wait till its warm and all of this darn snow is gone.

i was debating on detailing my engine...the only problem is that i wanted to paint the engine cover the same color as the car, but my car color is the Majestic Teal Pearl, and im not too sure if they would sell a spray pain that color, so i might just have to do it black, also i was thinking of painting the intake tube with a heat resistant spray paint, would it b worth it?

Cut some vents in your engine cover instead. I got all the lines drawn up on mine, just got to cut it out now.
