Have you done it yet jimbo??? It did exactly what it said it would do, remove all contaminents, particles, etc from the paint, after the 10 year build up. My moms 01 camry doesn't compare at all to it anymore.. The parentals were skeptical, and didn't understand what it would do, but now they are even believers, which isn't an easy thing to do. Justifying money to parents is not easy (although a lot ofyou have GFs or Wifes, which isn't easy)I think my parents are getting jealous of my car, and how clean it is, my car has only a few chips on the hood, while my moms camry has had a nice pelting. I think she has it bad cause the hood is more anlged.

Jim... Like the kit says, do one part of a panel, then feel it, then run your hands on the dirty panel, and you'll never go back.

Glad to hear you guys have become believers. I shared the secret after visiting the local auto body shop and seeing some of their tricks a few months ago. It really does work. It will also remove over spray long after it has dried on the paint. That is exactly how the auto shops do it. They don't like to give away that secret because it is a big profit maker for them.
3M makes the best clay bar. It cost me $50 canadian for a bar about the size of a bar of bath soap. It will last many years and do many cars.

2000SilverBullet, Just came across your post. You deserve a pat on the back also for sharing the secret. I can definately verify that the "claybar" removes paint residue from the surface. It sure saved my exterior paint from a disaster. just check out my post about the "Paint Ball Attack". Made a believer out of me.

Just put together a shopping list from meguiars.com (clay, polish, wax) and will be heading to Fleet Farm today after work. Weather and Birds permitting, I should finally have some pics by this weekend!

Lookin very nice aviator!

Just so no one has a heart attack after claying, its not the claying itself that will make it shine like a mirror, its the waxing afterwards. the claying cleans the paint to the smoothest finish you could ever imagine but it wont be shinier then when you started unitl you wax it.

It should be plenty shiney... Wax just makes the shine a lil smoother...

Nytro67, Thanks for replying. Like your 95ssei. With reference to the clarbar, after I got the paint off the car there were still tiny impressions like you would see from a negative image left on the surface of the paint.Thats when I used the clarbar again and it removed all those impressions. That'* what sold me on using the claybar.
